Add extra oomph to make your favorite dress look authentically retro with this 1950s-style black tulle crinoline petticoat from Unique Vintage. If you love the look of those dramatically flared swing skirts from the 1950s, this stiff tiered petticoat will give you the very same look and tons of fun volume that’s perfect for sashaying across the dance floor. Its one-size-fits-most elastic waist is comfortable and easy to wear, and it offers multiple layers of netting with matching binding on each tier to make you feel pretty and feminine even underneath your clothes. It also hits just below the knees for a tea length that goes with numerous retro-style dresses. While many petticoats are itchy and uncomfortable, this one will give you the volume that you love without the annoying discomfort of those from years gone by.

I bought these dresses in the black and white versions for my bridesmaids for my wedding. We put white criniloine slips (from Unique vintage under them). GORGEOUS! Never have had so many compliments on anything...even MY dress got less compliments...lol. I wish there was a place to post the pics of the girls..they were absolutely perfect. And they fit true to size...did not need to alter ANY of them!! I recommend this dress!!!

I bought this to wear with the 50's style Marilyn Halter dress, and it works perfectly. I was concerned that it would be snug, since it's a one-size thing, but I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. However, for the more petite ladies out there, it will perhaps be too large. The outer layers were scratchy, but the lining was nice and smooth and the petticoat was quite comfortable to wear. It fluffed the skirt of my dress very nicely, without being too poofy. I would definitely recommend this to others interested in buying it.

I bought this to wear with the Flirty Halter Swing dress and I was a little surprised by how short it was. It gives nice fullness, but the petti itself isn't long enough, and the hem of my dress dropped off a little too sharply. However, it is the length that the description provides (I measured it) so I can't complain too much. Also, it is VERY scratchy. I had to wear pantyhose and it was still a little too scratchy - I have several other petticoats that are like little poufy clouds against your legs, so this was a bit of a surprise. I'll have to purchase a slip to wear under it. I'll wear it again because it gives good poof, but I wouldn't purchase another one.

I ordered this petticoat with a purple marilyn dress. It is perfect with the dress. The right length and it doesn't make the dress stick out too much either. The one problem I have with it is that although the waist is elastic, it is quite big and loose on me. I've not got a small waist, so I'm wondering how big the waist would be on ladies with a very small frame. However, the shipping time was impressive (10 days from California to the UK) and it was in perfect condition.
