I gave this dress three stars because it fit beautifully and the fabric has a really pleasing texture and weight, but I did not give it 5 because of it's one MAJOR design flaw. THE BUST IS NOT LINED. The waist is lined and the top part of the bust is lined about three inches down from the scallops, but the part where your boobs are is SEE THROUGH!!! The back of the dress is also not lined, which is lame, but something that doesn't make it a deal-breaker. Even wearing a nude bra with this, the top part of the bust is super white and the middle (boob) part of the bust is a different color due to how sheer the fabric is. If you zoom in on the picture of the girl on the website you can KIND of see what I'm talking about, but it's obviously been doctored, because it's REALLY obvious in person. If you are looking at this as a wedding dress, I would say as long as you don't mind having it professionally lined, it would be perfect!

I used this dress for my Bridesmaids, and liked it so much I got one for me too! And my sister in law, and my mother! Interesting note on this dress, skinny does not always look best in it, curves wear it best! You do need a slip because the cotton is such a light color, and it did need to be hemmed, at 5'5" I am about as short as you can get with out taking it up, my mother and sister are taller and had no problems.

One of my best girlfriends got married last year and we got this dress as bridesmaid dresses. I love it! It is so feminine and gives you a great shape. It was so comfortable, by the end of that hot summer night I wasn't miserable and anxious to take it off. I love it so much I look for reasons to wear it.

I ordered this dress as a potential wedding dress and was disappointing when it arrived. The material is a nice heavy cotton with a bit of shine, however, the dress is not lined properly. You can see big lines where the fabric overlaps (mostly around/under the bust area, and on the back). This may only be the case with the ivory version but it would not work for me. II had to send the dress back and keep looking.
