details

We've fallen hard and fast for this one, dames. A stately 1950s inspired swing dress in a sumptuous scuba knit in deep navy, crafted in a vintage silhouette. Boasting a princess seamed surplice v neckline that's met by subtle cap sleeves in slim fit form. An ample A-line swing skirt falls in open pleats to a straight knee length hem, finishing off this too good to be true dress!
Available in sizes S-L while supplies last.

Fit

This is a beautiful dress - it's an amazing, flattering cut, a thick fabric with a beautiful sheen, and impeccably well made. The zipper is sturdy and doesn't feel flimsy and zips well - something that is hard to find in dresses with a hidden zipper like this. The fabric drapes well. It's very thick fabric, so this would be great in the cold, but also seems wearable in the heat.

Fit

The cut and fit of the dress are amazing, though they are not kidding when they dubbed the dress as "scuba dress." I honestly feel as though I am wearing one of those skin-tight diving outfits in that fabric. It is quite thick and very stretchy, which allows for a glorious fit, and the colour is a true stunner. The one flaw this dress has, in my opinion, is the waist-seam around the midriff. The top of the dress is lined, but the skirt is not, and, on the inside of the dress, the "scuba" fabric and the lining meet and are serged/overlocked together. That part of the dress is, unfortunately, rather scratchy, which makes it uncomfortable for extended wear. I find it very unfortunate, as the dress is otherwise perfect.
