Fashion in the 1950s was known for its dramatically fun, flared skirts and voluminous dresses, and stylish ladies of that time achieved this swinging effect by pairing their polka dot dresses with matching crinoline petticoats. Unique Vintage offers authentic options like this white tea length crinoline petticoat to help you get the very same look, darling, but ours have a few modern updates to keep them perfectly current and undeniably comfortable. This white petticoat is made of a stiff, sturdy crinoline that will give your skirt an attractive bell shape, and it even offers a bit of extra movement while you walk. Matching ribbon bindings separate each tier of fabric, and there are multiple layers of material so that it never falls flat. The elastic waistband of this white petticoat also fits most women, so you’ll feel loose and comfortable even while adding extra lift to your retro ensemble!

Just Right

It does the job. It is not a tight fit & is comfortable at the waist. As you walk it seems to get cought between your legs & when you sit its uncomfortable. On the other hand it does hold the dress up even after you've sat on it for a while.

The petticoat worked great with my 50s dress off this site. It was a little hard to un-crinkle after it came out of the box, but if you leave it out for a while it straightens out just fine. Lots of fun to wear!

Awesome! Comfy, just the right amount of volume, and it looks great.

I'm within the stated size range for waist, and it fit - if by fit you mean it didn't fall off. But it sat just above my hips and wound up showing more under the skirt of the dress than I wanted. Nothing that couldn't be fixed by taking in the elastic at the waist, but for small ladies who don't have time or inclination to modify, be aware that it will seem big.

I bought this petticoat to go under a dress I also bought from this site to wear to a wedding reception. It flared out great and was a lot of fun to dance in. I danced for about 4 hours straight, and I sweat a lot, but I did not get overheated in this like I thought I would. The length was perfect because I wanted to petticoat to show under my dress.
