This dress was exactly what I needed for my low-key wedding! Things worth noting are that the beading and sequins are not attached well -- I had to tie everything on better -- and the zipper gets stuck easily. This would've been more of an issue if I'd planned on wearing the dress more than once.

Let me start by saying the customer service I received was fantastic. Long story short, I ordered two dresses because the first one didn't fit. Unique-vintage took it back and even granted me a price adjustment so I could get the second dress I ordered for the same discount that I got the first one for. Thank you very much for that! The sizing was a little off for me. I took my measurements before I ordered and ordered according to the bust and waist measurements, which were 37.5 and 30, respectively. So I ordered a size large but when I tried it on it was way too small, I couldn't even zip it. So I sent it back and ordered a size XL (I never wear an XL in anything, but I just tried to forget about the tag and focus on how it fit!). The XL was a much better fit, I had enough room to breath, could zip it no problem. The only thing I had to have altered was the strap length, as they were about an inch/inch and a half too long. Another thing I had to do was have my mom steam it a little bit. There is stiff piece of fabric/netting under the dress (not sure what it's called) that gives the dress some pouf. But it was very wrinkled when I got it which made the tulle fall weird on top of it and it didn't look good. My mom steamed it with her iron (carefully) and it came out great. Overall, I was very happy with this dress, and I felt great wearing it on my wedding day. I got many compliments on it, and you can't beat the price for a budget wedding. It didn't feel or look "cheap" at all. It was perfect!

I knew when my husband and I decided to renew our vows for our 10 year anniversary that I did not want a traditional dress. I did that the first time around and I wanted something that showed off my personality. When I found this dress, I knew this was it. It is even more beautiful in person. It is true to size but I found it had a little give so it was perfect for after the ceremony when we had our little reception. It was so comfortable. I loved how poofy it was, I didn't have to wear a crinoline under it to give it volume. I couldn't have asked for more.

9/28/2011, Cannon Beach, Oregon - the day my now husband proposed to me in front of Haystack Rock, down on his knees in the wet sand. He was nervous, and tried to put the ring, my great grandmothers, on the wrong finger. That night, I knew exactly what site I was going to get my wedding dress off of. None of the local bridal stores had anything I wanted. You see, my husband and I are a retro couple. 1940's to the 1950's is our era! Upon browsing Unique-Vintage.com, I came across this beautiful dress and knew it was "the one". Just as I knew my husband was "the one". The day I got it in the mail, I rushed into our bedroom, locking my then fiance' out (hehehe) and tried it on. Fit...like...a...glove! Just enough sparkle on the bust and WOW what a tulle-induced twirl! Any bride, and this is coming FROM a recent bride (we were married on July 21st, 2012), would be absolutely ecstatic to wear this dress!

I love this dress. I wore it for my senior prom last year, and I am still trying to find excuses to wear it--all the time. It fit wonderfully, it was fun to dance around in, and my boyfriend LOVED it. I'm 5'5, 34DD, 27 waist. I got a small and it was perfect. Wasn't too tight or too loose anywhere. I would TOTALLY recommend this dress.
