This is a gorgeous prom gown. It is a purple with an iridescent tint in chiffon. The bodice has a beautiful ruching and sweetheart neckline with a one shoulder strap with rose detailing. This is a beautiful dress. It's got a split down the front of the chiffon overlay that flows beautifully when you walk. It is not, however, a one shoulder as described. There are two straps - one with the roses and one plain strap. I had my tailor cut off the second strap. Beware when ordering however. I ordered this dress for my junior prom and overall I was satisfied with the purchase; however, there are a couple things I was unhappy with. The fabric looks very pretty in person, but the under layer feels very cheap and is very clingy to legs and hips. I ordered this dress as my prom dress, and it is absolutely gorgeous. At first, I didn't think it was because of the poor lighting of where I was viewing it, but when I moved to clear light, it was just fabulous.
