Look familiar?  Here at Unique Vintage, it doesn’t get much more fabulous than the original diva herself- Barbie. When she was first introduced in 1959, she arrived on the scene in two incarnations; a bombshell brunette and the stunning blonde we have come to know and love.  Her first outfit?

A knock-out black and white chevron bathing suit, complete with a matching pair of sunglasses and heels! A gal who has accessorized accordingly for over 50 years is good in our book!

In the Spring of 2012, the UV team turned our eyes toward this icon for one of our latest swimsuit designs and the Navy & White Dinah One Piece was born!  Inspired by Barbie’s original swimsuit, this fantastic chevron pattern is a perfect addition to the UV line.  The gorgeous vintage-inspired one piece bathing suit features a very flattering halter top, complete with a V-neckline and scoop back.  The chevron design is not only an homage to our friend Barbie, but the shape of the pattern slims the silhouette, flattering every woman’s figure and making this number 100% beach ready.
