Some stretch to the fabric. Bodice is a shelf style, with pleats. Back metal zipper. This is an actual reproduction of an 1950's Alfred Shaheen classic, with only the thick halter strap added. This childrens dress is the match to 8198-K02B, and looks best when worn with a crinoline slip.
