The photos don't do this dress justice.It is cotton sateen, so while it has a sheen, it is not shiny as it appears in the photo. This dress is elegant understated and so very very feminine.Nice detail on the scalloped neckline, very face framing . I purchased the light blue crinoline to wear with it: WOW!
