I love this dress. Upon reading reviews I called in and ordered a size up to make sure it would fit. Problem being that I got a 3X and I am usually a 2X and this still runs small in the bust area. I will have to wear it without a bra for my wedding which is fine since it holds me pretty well. It is exceptionally long so my petticoat doesnt show.... I will have to be hemming up the dress a little for the wedding. So to any women with a larger rib cage and big bust always order at least 2 sizes bigger!!!!

This dress is so cute, but when they say runs small they mean extremely small. My measurement said one size, but I had to go up a size because mine was out of stock. Unfortunately I will be returning it to get even larger. The zipper is not only metal but poor quality. The fabric is very stiff and is a mess when it comes out of the packaging. I recommend you have it professionally pressed. I probably wouldn't purchase again except the color and style is perfect for my sisters wedding. When I get my new one I will take it to a seamstress and have the problems fixed.

Tried this on in the 3X (a friend had bought it and it was too small for her) and even though I normally wear a 1x or 2x, it was still too small. When I checked the measurements, I was under what was recommended for the 3x in all areas, but it was too small to zip all the way up. Definitely the bust area on this dress was the main problem, but also the arm openings were exceptionally small which was weird since I don't have large arms. The dress itself was true to color and a wonderful fabric and pattern--definitely quality workmanship. Just know that you'd better size this up...substantially.

My measurements fit the 3X in my biggest part. However, the top chest area is snug, like other reviewers said. The waist zipped up like a breeze (which is usually my concern with dresses). For women with large chest/torso area, be wary. With that being said, the dress is fantastic! It's made of pretty heavy material (not see-through white) and with my 5'4" frame, the hem reaches my ankles, and that's with a petticoat on. So, it should fit women who are pretty tall. Great dress, can't wait to wear it during the holidays!

I saw this dress on Emma Pillsbury on Glee and fell in love. Found it online and I ordered it. Although I am very tiny, the extra-small fits me like a (tight) glove. I've gotten lots of compliments on it. I also wear it slightly off the shoulder. I didn't like the white top-stitching on the cowl neckline, so I tacked it under so you can't see it. Also, not crazy about the metal zipper, but I guess that's a "vintage" touch? Also, I removed the rhinestone clip and self-belt and wore it with a black patent leather belt. Much slimmer look and it accentuates the tiny waist!
