I ordered this dress in an XL based on the sizing chart, despite being a small to medium in almost all clothing. But the chart showed the XL to be correct for 34 bust, 30 waist, etc. The dress was huuuuge on me. I would compare it to a size 12-14. So, be careful of what the sizing chart says; I found it to be completely inaccurate. Regarding the dress itself, it's beautiful and well made. Very stylish and classy.

I'm not a conventional gal, so when I have to attend official military functions I often feel a little lost. NOT IN THIS DRESS! I wore it with a sassy red petticoat and pearls and felt beautiful, and every bit myself. I can't thank you enough. (My only regret is that this generous skirt does not have pockets. Now that would be heavenly.) STATS: I'm 5ft 9", weigh 183Lbs, 38C and bought an XXL. I'm usually a 14.

Bought this for my daughter for prom - she wanted it SO BAD! She is a size 16 but we went up a size to make sure it would fit. It didn't. It was still about 2 sizes too small! Since they were out of stock on a larger size and because Unique Vintage refuses to service Alaska fairly on postage, we weren't able to return it in time. So, spent $100 having it resized at a seamstress. Cute dress but SUPER small. Sad that UV doesn't honor it's Alaskan and Hawaiian customers either or we may have been able to get a replacement in time. I'd give the dress a 2 because it is super cute but not sized correctly - and their customer service was a 1 because they have no fair postage options for Alaskans.

I bought this dress for my corporate holiday party, and received many compliments on it. The wives of all of my co-workers were dying to know where I found such a classy dress. I also purchased the red crinoline to wear beneath the dress. It was the perfect combination. The measurements of the dress sizes were spot on, too; the fit was perfect.
