Just Right

The quality of the fabric is more sturdy than pictured. I looked at several different pictures that were posted of women wearing this dress (on this site and Instagram), and I thought that maybe I was going to get a real light-fabric dress. It is 100% cotton, and the laundering instructions say "Dry Clean" with the option to hand wash with mild detergent in cold water and hang dry. The description for this dress says it has adjustable and removable straps. I've looked and looked, but though the straps are adjustable, they are not removable. I prefer straps present, so this is fine with me, but just thought you should know if considering to buy this lovely dress. I qualified the fit as "Just right", because it's how I expected it to fit. I am pear-shaped, so I had to buy according to my 36" waist. The hips are open, so that's great for me and other curvy ladies. But, as I expected, the bust is a few inches too big for me. Again, I am pear-shaped, so I usually have to take dresses to my seamstress to have them fitted. The bottom hem of the dress lands between a couple inches below the widest part of my calves and a couple inches above my ankles. This is fine with me, but I'll be wearing heels with it to not let me look frumpy.
