I wore this dress at my wedding in New Orleans as a "going away"/ second wedding dress, and it was absolutely perfect! I knew that I didn't want to wear my big wedding dress when I went out after my wedding, so I changed into this dress near the end of my reception. " they may not be so great, it wasn't a big wedding with a professional photographer. so i'm not sure if you can really see the fascinator well.
we we're going for a "1940's, wartime, rush to the alter" kinda look. i didn't want things to look too matchy, matchy.
we had a tiny wedding at the local courthouse, and like i said before it was on halloween, so that would explain why my man of honor is trying to eat me.
i really enjoyed buying through unique vintage. i got my dress there as well. i still check back with them to see new stuff.

Chic & Glamorous One Shoulder Blue Prom Gown
" Thanks to Unique- Vintage prom was a dream come true for Cassie (my best friend), her boyfriend Matt and myself. We had a ton of fun! The best part was the fact that Cassie had no idea Matt was coming! He has been stationed in Virgina for a month or two now and he was told he would not me coming home until June. Matt texted me Friday just before I left school and wrote "buy me a prom ticket" I said "are you serious!" So I got the ticket, Cassie's mom and I had to keep it a secret for two days which was soooo hard! I spent the night at Cassie's on Friday and Matt was due to land at 12 noon Saturday. It was hilarious because she wasn't able to talk to him all morning Saturday and she left him mean messages and texted him a million times. We went to Kohls for some last minute necessities, when we got home Cassie's moms fiance was there and he had secretly picked Matt up from the airport! Matt hid in her closet and she was complaining about him while we were putting our stuff together and he walks out of the closet and said "HEY!" her first reaction was sheer terror because we watch too many scary movies where people jump out of closets then she realized who it was and she started bawling! It was soo cute! (there are pictures) She found out we were all in on it and was so happy! It turned out being an amazing night! We ate at outback and went to the prom! It was great and they where sooo happy! And to think she wasn't even going until she got this dress! (which by the way EVEYONE asked where she got it!) i guess we know where everyone is shopping next year! haha! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!!"

Antique 30's Style Ivory Silk Wedding Gown
"A very belated thank you for my dress! Dragging myself round bridal shops last summer I began to think I'd never find a wedding dress I liked, Thank you for solving my troubles with this lovely 1930s style gown :) I was pretty nervous ordering it online, especially from overseas, but it was stunning. I had some minor alterations done by my dress maker and she couldn't believe how lovely and high quality it was (especially when I told her the price!). If anyone else is considering it then I highly reccommend this one, it sits and moves beautifully. My only regret is that it's now packed away."

MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of the bust and back.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of the waist.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips.
Length: Measure from the top of your shoulder.

We have measured the flapper or swing dress, not your body. One option is to measure a similar dress at home. If the measurements match, the item will probably fit.
