Unique Vintage Domestic Shipping Policy

Unique Vintage uses FEDEX for domestic deliveries.  We process orders daily and orders are processed within 48 hours.  Please take this into consideration when choosing your shipping method.

For  P.O. Box and APO addresses, we use the United States Post Office.  We CANNOT ship FedEx to PO Boxes.

Shipping charge for orders within the United States:

Ground (5-10 days) is a flat rate of $9.95.

3 Day Air, 2 Day Air and Overnight shipping vary depending on weight and destination, this will be automatically applied before you checkout.

Canada orders start at $32.00, Alaska/Hawaii orders start at $25.00 and are shipped via USPS or FedEx.

Note: Delivery times do not include weekends and Saturday delivery is only available by marking the box on the check out page. Otherwise, a 2 day air order that goes out on Thursday, will not arrive until Monday.

*** You will receive an email from FEDEX with your shipment date and tracking number when your order ships. You may also see tracking information in your order history. ***

Returns: If you would like to return your order, it must be delivered back to us within 14 days of the day you receive it (or a we may reject the return or apply a 15% restocking fee, at our discretion).  If you choose to refuse a shipment and "Return to Shipper", the return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

Note: For P.O. Boxes, APO, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Virgin Island addresses, we use the United States Post Office, FedEx delivery is NOT available to PO Boxes.

Unique Vintage Returns Policy

If you would like to return your order, it must be delivered back to us within 14 days of the day you receive your order. 30 days for international customers.

You can choose to request a refund (minus shipping), make an exchange or choose to hold a store credit with us. Simply jot a note on your invoice directing us what you are requesting and include it in your return.

EXCHANGE POLICY: We encourage you to take a store credit or exchange instead of a return. Simply ship the item back using any shipping method of your choosing (we suggest purchasing tracking information to ensure safe arrival of your package). Please include the original invoice with a note requesting your exchange choice. We will then pay for it to be sent back to you (domestic customers only for a one time exchange). If there is a price difference between the exchange, we will either charge or refund your card, whichever is called for to complete your exchange request. If you are an international customer, we will charge your original card for the cost to ship your exchange.

REFUNDS: We offer full refunds (minus shipping) on most items when your order is received back to our location within 14 days from the day you received your order. Exceptions are noted in the product description. RETURNS MUST INCLUDE THE ORDER RECEIPT. We will refund your original card and you will receive an email receipt of your refund. Please allow 3-4 days for us to process a return and credit your account. Your refund may be reflected on your next statement.

Late Returns: We have a strict 14 day return policy. You are responsible for shipping the items back to our returns department, we do not cover shipping. We must receive the item and a copy of your invoice at our location within 14 days (30 days for international customers) of the date you received your order, no exceptions***. If items are received past the 14 day policy, they will be returned to you at your expense***.
*The original credit card will be refunded in full (minus shipping charges). You will receive an email of your return receipt. Please allow 5-7 days for the refund to appear on your statement.

DAMAGED RETURNS: Any problem with items received must be reported to our customer service department within 48 hours of receipt. You do not need to call if you are simply exchanging/returning an item. We will not accept returns if tags are missing, if the item appears worn or is damaged with makeup, deodorant, cigarette smoke, snags, perfume etc., or it is past the return period. These returns will be sent back to you at your cost or charged a 15% restocking fee at our discretion.

Ordering Multiple Items: We understand that you may want to order several items to try on. However, please limit your selection to 3 dresses. All returns of 4 or more dresses will be charged a $25 restocking fee per returned dress, regardless if received back in time.

Ordering Multiple Designer Prom Dresses: Because we allow returns on designer prom dresses we need to limit orders to 2 at a time. You can only return 2 designer prom dresses per season. If you intend to keep more than 2 , please indicated that on your order and we can make a special exception for you. The designer prom dresses that this rule applies to are Mignon, Terani, Faviana, Night Moves, Evenings by Allure, Mori Lee, Sue Wong, Flirt, Joli, Blush and MacDuggal.

SPECIAL ORDERS
We do not take returns on special order dresses. Final sale and slightly damaged items are non-returnable. All authentic vintage pieces and some shoes that are returned have a 15% restocking fee (this will be noted in the product description).

Restocking Fees:  ***Authentic Vintage dresses,some shoes have a 15% restocking fee. Late returns are subject to 15% re-stocking fee at our discretion. No returns on Petticoats or cosmetics. If you send your petticoat back to us opened we will charge a 50% restocking fee..

Keep in mind that most gowns will need some sort of altering. We are NOT responsible for sizing mishaps. We use the size charts provided by the manufacturer or measure them ourselves. We do not measure the dresses on your body, therefore we cannot guarantee the measurements listed will be exact.

International Shipping Rates

Currently we only ship international orders via USPS Express which starts at $42.00. Shipping time is generally 5-10 days. Your country may charge you customs duties, which we have no control over. Your order could randomly be held by customs which may delay the delivery of your order. This is of course out of our control. Please keep these things in mind when ordering internationally.

International Customs Policies

Customs Fees

International orders may incur a customs fee. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay the customs and import duties. We cannot determine in advance what these charges will be. Please contact your local customs office to determine the customs costs. If you refuse to pay them, you are responsible for the original shipping costs to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package. These costs will be subtracted from your merchandise refund and your credit card will be charged accordingly.

Canadian Customs: Anything over $20.00 CAD will be subject to customs fees. Taxes, PST & GST, will vary based on the province to which the items are shipped. The duty is determined by the value of the merchandise and is determined by Customs.

Australian Customs: Australian duties, taxes and brokerage fees on items shipped to Australia are established by Australian Customs. All goods (except for tobacco products and alcoholic beverages) may be imported duty and tax free if their value is $1,000 or less. UK Customs: UK duties, taxes and brokerage fees on items shipped to the UK are established by UK Customs. Customs Duty is charged on the purchase price of the goods and can be as high as 30% of the total purchase price. Most goods arriving in the UK from outside the EU are liable to any or all of these charges: Customs Duty; Excise Duty, Import V.A.T charges, Brokerage Surcharges.

Other Policies

Please read the full description of the items. Some items are not in stock at the moment. We are as clear as possible, and have typed in capital letters, THIS DRESS IS NOT IN STOCK UNTIL…

That means, the dress is not in stock. All orders will be shipped when they arrive.

Canceling Orders: Unless there is a problem with your order (i.e. your item is out of stock or delayed) we have a no cancellation policy. Once your order has been placed and processed, it is impossible for us to catch it and cancel it for you. You must wait to receive your item and then if applicable, you may send it back for an exchange or refund (shipping charges are non-refundable).

Taxes: Tax is only charged to California residents at 9.75%. Everyone else lucks out!

Stock: Although we have most of our merchandise in stock, occasionally out of stocks occur. We notify the customer within 24 hours if their item is out of stock and can often give an estimated arrival time. At that time, the customer can choose to wait or simply request a refund.
