Runs Small

CAN I JUST SAY I LOVE THIS SUIT? This is the second suit I've bought from Unique Vintage, and I'm head over heals for it. I've got a little bit of an odd shape, and a tummy I'd prefer to hide, which has left me a little insecure in the swimsuit shopping department, but I feel like a vintage Hollywood glam girl in this suit! It gives shape to my shapelessness, flatters the few curves I do have, and hides my bumps. I was afraid that the halter strap might be too tight and cause that underarm-overhang look, but it doesn't do that at all. I haven't tested it in water yet, but so far, it's lovely all the way around. I'd recommend it to anybody.

Another great swimsuit from Unique Vintage! My measurements are 38-29-38 and I'm 5' 8" and about 138 pounds, so the size 12 fit wonderfully. The extra two inches in the hips worked out well for me, as the leg openings are elastic and may squeeze some ladies' thighs. I figured that would be a good thing to mention to potential buyers. I also recently purchased the 1950s Style Solid Red Swimsuit and loved it as well. Also worth noting is that these suits are made of usually nylon and spandex, so they do stretch, but they also hold you in as well for any who are concerned about figure flaws, as some of us are. But, again, both suits were great buys and I would recommend them to anyone.

This suit is so cute on the model! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the ruching detail. However, the top seems to be way out of proportion to the bottom and the strap isn't adjustable to make up for it! I even had a friend who is very busty, but the same sized hip as me, try it and it was still huge in the top for her. Too bad, but I'll still be purchasing a different suit from you!
