Don't forget sunglasses!

There are few vintage clothing pieces that stand the test of time better than the classic one-piece swimsuit, and this red polka dot swimsuit from Esther Williams is the perfect example of that timeless appeal. With a universally flattering design, fun, frisky polka dot print and adjustable halter straps that create a comfortable fit on any wearer, this vintage suit is just about everything a gal could ask for in the perfect bathing suit. It is constructed of a soft yet stretchy fabric in an eye-catching shade of tomato red, while stark white polka dots line the suit’s entire surface. Slight ruching creates a slimming effect down the hips and thighs, and the smooth midsection and backside are seamless and sleek. This red polka dot swimsuit also offers slightly padded cup inserts, a shaping sweetheart neckline and completely adjustable halter straps that offer a custom fit for any type of body style.

I bought this swimsuit for my beach trip this summer! It's so cute and flatters my curves!

I ordered this for a pin-up photo shoot a few years ago and it was great! It was a little expensive but fit very nicely and was just the look I was going for. It is extremely well-made (fully lined even in the bust, good material). I am definitely happy with this swimsuit.

I am SO happy with my purchase! Fits wonderfully! I am so happy I found a one piece that still is somewhat sexy! Just make sure you use the measuring chart to get the right size!

This looks great on, but has ZERO support in the bust. Just a super loose and low shelf bra, so if you have a large chest like me (D cup) don't expect your normal cleavage. I love the look of it and it is comfortable, so I'm going to have underwire and support sewn in.

I'm in love! I bought this on a whim because I've been dying for a cute retro one piece ever since my other one wore out and I can definitely see myself buying this again in the future. My measurements are 41-31-42 and I bought a size 14 (I was wondering if I should have gotten a 16, but I went with my instincts) and it fits perfectly. I tried it on to show my sister and she asked to try it to see how it fit (she's smaller on top and a little more hippy than I am) and it looked so amazing on her that she bought one too -and she's usually a bikini girl. It tucks and smooths all your curves into place and gives you this fantastic hourglass shape (not to mention you look about a size smaller once you get it on because it's tailored so well -it even tamed my little bit of "tummy pudge"). I'm quite busty, too (36DD) and it gives me more support than any other bathing suit I've found in this style without an underwire. Definitely pull out your measuring tape so you get the perfect fit and remember that it stretches, so go with your instincts. I went with a 14 instead of a 16 because I'm so tired of things being baggy in my waist, and it ended up fitting my chest and bottom perfectly because the fabric has a nice stretch even though it's sturdy. What I love about this suit (aside from it's ability to flatter my body) is how it's flirty and cute without being a bikini. I'm 22 and have never been a bikini fan so to have a one piece that doesn't look super conservative but still covers up just the right amount of skin is so nice. It's the first bathing suit I've ever put on and fell in love with not just the suit, but how I looked in it. I could strut around in this all day and not feel self conscience at all. I'm also from British Columbia and it was delivered the next day, which was impressive and rather unexpected, so it was a happy surprise.
